The TECNA 9340ES is an ESD-protected tool retractor for use in electrostatic-discharge-protected areas. Conductive construction throughout the housing, rope, and connection points lets the 9340ES dissipate static charge instead of accumulating it, protecting electronic components and PCB assemblies that are handled near the suspended tool. The 9340ES carries a load capacity of 22.05–30.86 lbs (10.0–14.0 kg) over a working stroke of 98.43 in. (2500 mm), with a stainless steel rope and cast aluminum body. Capacity is adjustable and the stroke limiting device sets the working range to the application. Within the 2500mm ESD retractor sub-line, the 9340ES is the highest-capacity variant; the 9339ES carries a lower 17.64–22.05 lbs range at the same 98.43-in. stroke.
