Description
The TECNA B340-G05 Bowden retractor uses a flexible Bowden cable — a stainless steel inner rope inside a low-friction sheath — to decouple the load line from the suspension point. The B340-G05 can be mounted in one position while delivering the cable end at a different angle or location, which allows it to work around fixed equipment and installation constraints that rule out a conventional overhead-drop balancer. The B340-G05 carries a load capacity of 22.05–30.86 lbs (10–14 kg) and a working stroke of 98.43 in. (2500 mm), with a 19.69-in. (500 mm) Bowden cable. Capacity is adjustable and a stroke limiting device sets the working range to the application. Within the B340-series, the B340-G05 is the shortest Bowden-cable variant; the B340-G1 extends the cable from 19.69 in. to 39.37 in. at the same 22.05–30.86 lbs capacity.
Features
- Cast aluminum housing; rugged construction.
- Stainless steel load rope inside a flexible Bowden sheath.
- Load capacity of 22.05–30.86 lbs (10–14 kg); working stroke of 98.43 in. (2500 mm); 19.69-in. (500 mm) Bowden cable.
- Adjustable capacity.
- Safety suspension.
- Adjustable stroke limiting device.
- Cable guide in antifriction material for smooth, low-resistance travel.
- Inert spring drum assembly.
- Secondary mechanism that blocks the load if the spring fails (standard on capacities >3 kg).
- Polyamide cable thimble.
- Stainless steel cable sheath with a low-friction internal lining — supports use of the sheath as a suspension point.
