Description

The TECNA 8007D pairs a 80 kVA single-phase AC transformer with air-operated actuation in a press-type spot/projection welder configuration. The 8007D provides a maximum welding current of 36,000 amps on steel with maximum electrode force of 1,654 lbs at 6 bar. The thermal current rating at 100% duty cycle is 6,800 amps. A water-cooled transformer, electrode holders, and electrodes support extended duty cycles, with epoxy resin-coated windings for long service life. The 8007D offers an electrode throat depth of 15.75 in. and a projection plate throat depth of 11.02 in. for both spot and projection welding applications.
