Description
The TECNA 3233 is a medium-frequency DC (inverter) C-type suspended weld gun with air-operated actuation, rated 50 kVA at 50% duty (80 kVA at 20%). It delivers a maximum welding current of 19,000 amps and up to 674 lbs (300 daN) of electrode force at 6 bar with a 150 mm arm, and is driven by a separate MF inverter control cabinet with the TE770 weld control.
Features
- Medium-frequency DC inverter for stable, low-distortion welds on coated and dissimilar materials with reduced power draw.
- TE770 weld control (separate MF inverter cabinet): constant-current and FIX modes, slope up/down, pulses, pre/post-weld, stepper with programmable curves, 1 ms resolution.
- C-type geometry with 1.34 in (34 mm) non-insulated arm fitting.
- Gyro suspension for accurate maneuverability with a TECNA balancer.
- Net weight 64 lbs (29 kg) with suspension, without arms.
- Recommended balancer: TECNA 9365 (B / RI hook options available).
Installation Requirements
- Separate medium-frequency inverter control cabinet (TE770).
- Compressed air supply for 6 bar electrode-force rating.
- US supply basis (V/Hz, fuse, cable) and water-cooling data: confirm with WSI — not published in the OEM data sheet.
