The TECNA 2136D pairs a 100 kVA single-phase AC transformer with air-operated actuation in a projection bench welder configuration. The 2136D provides a maximum welding current of 40,000 amps, a maximum electrode force of 1,654 lbs, and a maximum projection plate throat depth of 9.06 in. The thermal current rating at 100% duty cycle is 7,000 amps. A water-cooled transformer, electrode holders, and electrodes support extended duty cycles, with epoxy resin-coated windings for long service life. The standard TE550 microprocessor weld control is included. Within the 63-150 kVA AC bench range, the 2136D is the 100 kVA projection variant; its spot-welding counterpart at the same power class is the 2135D, which provides an 11.02-in. electrode throat instead of the 2136D’s 9.06-in. projection plate throat.
