Description
The TECNA 3062Q is a 56 kVA (50% duty) MFDC inverter c-type suspended weld gun with air-operated actuation, fed from a three-phase supply. Medium-frequency DC delivers stable, low-distortion welds with reduced power draw versus single-phase AC. It produces a maximum welding current of 25,000 amps and up to 1,124 lbs of electrode force (500 daN at 8 bar, single-stage cylinder).
Features
- 56 kVA @ 50% (88 kVA @ 20%) MFDC inverter with water-cooled secondary; max welding power 200 kVA.
- Medium-frequency DC output for consistent welds on coated and dissimilar materials with lower mains demand.
- Gyro suspension on sealed bearings with rotation lock for accurate maneuverability with a TECNA balancer.
- Electrode force 1,124 lbs (500 daN) at 8 bar, or 843 lbs (375 daN) at 6 bar (single-stage cylinder).
- Adjustable working stroke 0.20–1.18 in. (5–30 mm) plus temporary extra stroke; max stroke 2.95–3.94 in. (75–100 mm).
- Fully water-cooled copper secondary; lube-free chromium-plated cylinder and shaft; cooling-circuit valves for easy electrode changes.
- Recommended balancer: TECNA 9412.
Installation Requirements
- US stock supply: 480 V / 60 Hz three-phase (400 V / 50 Hz on request).
- Delayed fuses 100 A; cable section 0.04 in² (25 mm²) at L=30 m.
- Compressed air: 116 psi (8 bar). Water cooling: 127 gal/h (480 l/h).
- Net weight 117 lbs (53 kg) with cables, hoses, and suspension, without arms.
