The TECNA 2121D pairs a 32 kVA single-phase AC transformer with air-operated actuation in a spot bench welder configuration. The 2121D provides a maximum welding current of 20,000 amps, a maximum electrode force of 674 lbs, and a maximum electrode throat depth of 11.02 in. The thermal current rating at 100% duty cycle is 5,100 amps. A water-cooled transformer, electrode holders, and electrodes support extended duty cycles, with epoxy resin-coated windings for long service life. The standard TE550 microprocessor weld control is included. Within the 32-63 kVA AC bench range, the 2121D is the 32 kVA spot variant; its projection counterpart at the same power class is the 2122D, which provides a 7.87-in. projection plate throat instead of the 2121D’s 11.02-in. electrode throat.
