Description
The TECNA 3033Q pairs a 53 kVA single-phase AC transformer with air-operated actuation in a c-type suspended weld gun configuration. It delivers a maximum welding current of 26,500 amps and a maximum electrode force of 1,393 lbs (620 daN at 8 bar). The 3033Q is the separate-control version, operated by a standalone TE560 control unit (Art. 1253/1254); its built-in-control twin is the 3032Q.
Features
- 53 kVA single-phase AC transformer with water-cooled, epoxy-resin-coated windings (ISO 5826).
- Separate TE560 microprocessor weld control (Art. 1253/1254): 250 weld programs, constant-current mode, pre-weld/slope/pulse/post-weld functions.
- Gyro suspension on sealed bearings with rotation lock for accurate maneuverability with a TECNA balancer.
- Adjustable working stroke 0.20–1.18 in. (5–30 mm) plus temporary extra (retraction) stroke; max stroke 2.95–3.94 in. (75–100 mm).
- Fully water-cooled copper secondary; lube-free chromium-plated cylinder and shaft; cooling-circuit valves for easy electrode changes.
- Supplied with earth-leakage switch (30 mA); ground-fault unit available on request.
- Handle controls select two weld programs, double-stroke opening, and the ‘pressure only’ function.
- Recommended balancer: TECNA 9413.
Installation Requirements
- US stock supply: 440 V / 60 Hz (400 V / 50 Hz on request).
- Delayed fuses 100 A; cable section 0.04 in² (25 mm²) at L=30 m.
- Compressed air: 116 psi (8 bar); consumption 5/15 Nm³ per 1000 spots (short/long stroke).
- Water cooling: 95 gal/h (360 l/h).
- Net weight 157 lbs (71 kg) with cables, hoses, and suspension, without arms.
