Description
The TECNA 2920 is a light X-type robot spot welding gun built strong and light for versatile, multi-configuration use on robotic and automated lines. It is powered by a 56 kVA medium-frequency (MFDC / inverter) transformer — with an optional 75 kVA AC transformer available — and driven by a pneumatic Ø100 mm actuator. The gun delivers a maximum welding current of 39,600 amps and a maximum electrode force of 717 lbs at 6 bar on the shortest (11.81 in. / 300 mm) arm; electrode force scales with arm length down to 357 lbs on the 27.56 in. (700 mm) arm. Water-cooled construction supports continuous robotic duty.
