Description

The TECNA 9403G is a stainless steel cable zero-gravity balancer with a floor-controlled lock/unlock device. Unlike a retractor, a zero-gravity balancer holds the suspended load at whatever height the operator leaves it — once set, the load remains stationary at the released position rather than returning to a rest height. The integrated locking-unlocking device lets the operator lock the balancer or release it for free movement directly from floor level, without reaching the unit itself. The 9403G carries a load capacity of 66.14–88.18 lbs (30–40 kg) over a working stroke of 98.43 in. (2500 mm), with a stainless steel rope and cast aluminum body with a shock-absorbent rubber coating (version G) running on a tapered drum and ball bearings. Capacity is adjustable by means of a worm screw, and an adjustable stroke limiting device sets the working range to the application. The 9403G is available as version .B with the standard floor-controlled lock/unlock device, or as version .B1 with a reinforced lock/unlock device that uses a stainless steel chain and handle. Both versions are configured at time of order and cannot be retrofitted to installed units. Version G adds a shock-absorbent rubber coating to the housing for impact protection.
