Description

The TECNA 9336LAX is an ATEX-certified retractor balancer for tool suspension in potentially explosive atmospheres. A retractor supports the weight of a suspended tool and retracts the cable to a rest height when the tool is released, reducing operator fatigue and keeping the tool clear of the work area between uses. AtEx certification requires the balancer to be entirely conductive, grounded, and built from spark-proof materials so it can be used safely around flammable gases, vapours, or combustible dusts. The 9336LAX is certified to II 2G Ex h IIC T6 Gb, suitable for use in ATEX-designated hazardous areas matching that classification.
