The TECNA 9311ES is an ESD-protected tool retractor for use in electrostatic-discharge-protected areas. Conductive construction throughout the housing, rope, and connection points lets the 9311ES dissipate static charge instead of accumulating it, protecting electronic components and PCB assemblies that are handled near the suspended tool. The 9311ES carries a load capacity of 0.88–2.2 lbs (0.4–1.0 kg) over a working stroke of 62.99 in. (1600 mm), with a stainless steel rope and cast aluminum body. Capacity is adjustable and the stroke limiting device sets the working range to the application. Within the 1600mm ESD retractor sub-line, the 9311ES sits between the 9310ES (0.44–1.1 lbs) and the 9313ES (4.41–6.61 lbs); all share the same 62.99-in. stroke.
