Description
The TECNA 6020FA pairs a 40 kVA MFDC / inverter transformer with air-operated actuation. The 6020FA provides a maximum welding current of 15,200 amps, a maximum electrode force of 955 lbs, and a maximum throat depth of 23.62 in. Arm length, electrode stroke, and throat depth are all independently adjustable to accommodate varied part geometries. TECNA MFDC inverter technology delivers weld-to-weld repeatability and more efficient energy use than comparable single-phase AC welders. The TE700 advanced microprocessor control provides enhanced programmability for demanding production requirements. Within the 6020-series, the 6020FA shares the 6020F’s 40 kVA power, 15,200-amp maximum current, and 23.62-in. maximum throat; the FA variant replaces the TE751 control with an advanced TE700 microprocessor control for enhanced programmability.
