Description
The TECNA 4668N pairs a 50 kVA single-phase AC transformer with air-operated actuation in a linear-action (straight-line descent) press frame. The 4668N provides a maximum welding current of 16,500 amps, a maximum electrode force of 674 lbs, and a 19.69 in. throat depth. The vertical electrode descent suits flat-part and panel work where a fixed throat is preferred over adjustable arms. A water-cooled, epoxy-resin-coated transformer supports extended duty cycles. The standard TE101 microprocessor weld control is front-mounted for real-time parameter viewing. Within the 4665-series straight-line models, the 4665N is the 35 kVA model with a 15.75-in. throat; the 4666N raises power to 50 kVA at the same throat, while the 4667N and 4668N extend the throat to 19.69 in.
