Description
The TECNA 2946/2947 is a C-type robot spot welding gun built strong and light for versatile, multi-configuration use on robotic and automated lines. It is powered by a 90 kVA medium-frequency (MFDC / inverter) transformer and driven by a servomotor (roller-screw) actuator at 3000 rpm for precise, programmable force control. The gun delivers a maximum welding current of 63,600 amps and a constant 1,124 lbs (500 daN) of electrode force across its short-throat 3.94 in. (100 mm) and 5.91 in. (150 mm) arms. It is offered in two configurations: the US 2947 (EXLAR GTW80 actuator, 480 V / 60 Hz, 73 kg) and the 2946 (4.9 Nm actuator, 400 V / 50 Hz, 83 kg). Water-cooled construction supports continuous robotic duty.
Features
- C-type short-throat robot spot welding gun for automated and robotic applications.
