The TECNA 2122D pairs a 32 kVA single-phase AC transformer with air-operated actuation in a projection bench welder configuration. The 2122D provides a maximum welding current of 20,000 amps, a maximum electrode force of 1,056 lbs, and a maximum projection plate throat depth of 7.87 in. The thermal current rating at 100% duty cycle is 5,100 amps. A water-cooled transformer, electrode holders, and electrodes support extended duty cycles, with epoxy resin-coated windings for long service life. The standard TE550 microprocessor weld control is included. Within the 32-63 kVA AC bench range, the 2122D is the 32 kVA projection variant; its spot-welding counterpart at the same power class is the 2121D, which provides an 11.02-in. electrode throat instead of the 2122D’s 7.87-in. projection plate throat.
