Description

The TECNA 9522 is a stainless steel cable zero-gravity balancer for tool suspension. Unlike a retractor, a zero-gravity balancer holds the suspended load at whatever height the operator leaves it — once set, the load remains stationary at the released position rather than returning to a rest height. The 9522 carries a load capacity of 66.14–88.18 lbs (30–40 kg) over a working stroke of 106.3 in. (2700 mm), with a stainless steel rope and ribbed cast aluminum body running on a tapered drum and ball bearings. Capacity is adjustable by means of a worm screw, and an adjustable stroke limiting device sets the working range to the application. Version .F adds a friction/brake that controls drum rotation speed; this version is configured at time of order and cannot be retrofitted to installed units.
