The TECNA 9365 is a stainless steel cable zero-gravity balancer with a floor-controlled lock/unlock device. Unlike a retractor, a zero-gravity balancer holds the suspended load at whatever height the operator leaves it — once set, the load remains stationary at the released position rather than returning to a rest height. The integrated locking-unlocking device lets the operator lock the balancer or release it for free movement directly from floor level, without reaching the unit itself. The 9365 carries a load capacity of 66.14–77.16 lbs (30–35 kg) over a working stroke of 78.74 in. (2000 mm), with a stainless steel rope and ribbed cast aluminum body running on a tapered drum and ball bearings. Capacity is adjustable by means of a worm screw, and an adjustable stroke limiting device sets the working range to the application. The 9365 ships as version .B with the floor-controlled lock/unlock device, configured at time of order and not retrofittable to installed units.
