The TECNA 4644N pairs a 25 kVA single-phase AC transformer with mechanical foot-pedal actuation. The 4644N provides a maximum welding current of 11,600 amps, a maximum electrode force of 337 lbs, and a maximum throat depth of 27.56 in. Arm length, electrode stroke, and throat depth are all independently adjustable to accommodate varied part geometries. A water-cooled, epoxy-resin-coated transformer supports extended duty cycles. The standard TE101 microprocessor weld control is front-mounted for real-time parameter viewing. Within the 4640-series, the 4644N delivers 25 kVA of welding power with the same 27.56-in. maximum throat as the 4642N, providing 25% more power for heavier-gauge work in the same reach envelope.
